Christian Brothers College (CBC) is a private Catholic school in the CBD of Adelaide, South Australia. It was founded by a group of Irish Christian Brothers in 1878, and it is now one of three Christian Brothers schools in the state.
CBC is predominantly a secondary school, although it has a primary school campus, and now includes a community childcare centre, with a combined student population of approximately 1100.
CBC requires its students to wear a school uniform, which is similar to the other private schools in Adelaide. Students from CBC can be recognised by their purple blazers in winter.

Since the boarding house was moved to Rostrevor, much lower student numbers have made it hard for CBC to compete in the team sports with high numbers of players. Naturally, no sport has suffered more than footy.
The school produced an Australian Football League player Nick Westhoff (2008), who was drafted by the Richmond Football Club with pick 51 in the 2010 AFL Rookie Draft.
The school produced the following Magarey Medallists in the early SANFL years:
John Perin represented Australia at senior level. Players such as Carlo Taladira, Alf Iannello and Jamie Perin would all go on to play for Adelaide's NSL team (Adelaide City) of the day. Earlier on, Syd Rossetto and Joe Serafini were key players for Adelaide City SA state sides. On the 17the of August 2011, Christian Brothers Collage won the inaugural school soccer league called the Twilight Cup. This achievement is the first time Christian Brothers College have won a soccer championship since the foundation of the school 133 years ago.
When badminton was introduced into the school in the 1980s, CBC was able to field as many as 6 teams.
In 2010, rugby union was introduced to the school. The school plays in purple and white hoops
CBC has a very reputable drama department known around Adelaide for high quality productions and successful graduates. Recently (Since 2004) CBC has been home to the 'Company of Muses' directed by Amanda Portus and has won many awards for plays during the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Some of its graduates have proceeded to further study in the performing arts at some of the country's most respected performing arts institutes. These include:
